PERCEIVED TERRAIN
Amber Barney-Nivón and Jessica Anne Cattle’s new body of collaborative work aims to go beyond the traditional “landscape” and to display their perceived, deconstructed and abstracted versions of the terrain they see. When in nature repeating shapes, patterns, and texture come to the forefront creating an experience that is uniquely theirs. They have, in a sense, rearranged aspects of nature, like unit cells of crystals or the vein-like terrain of mountains and forests. And, through painting, drawing, and sculpting have made work that embodies the uniqueness of their experiences that evoke deep connections with nature.
Join us for our Opening Reception on July 8th 6.00pm-9.00pm at Coral Gallery to see Amber's and Jessica's first collaborative exhibition.
Coral Gallery is located at the front of the Equinox Studios at 6520 5th Ave S. Seattle.
